Position Overview: As a Registered Respiratory Therapist, you will be responsible for administering respiratory therapies, performing diagnostic tests such as pulmonary function tests, managing ventilators, and closely collaborating with physicians to develop and implement care plans tailored to individual patient needs. You'll also provide valuable education to patients and families to help manage long-term respiratory conditions.
Role Qualifications: To qualify, you should have a degree in Respiratory Therapy from an accredited program and hold current certification as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) through the NBRC. A valid Ohio license to practice respiratory care is required. While experience in an acute care or hospital setting is preferred, we encourage new graduates with strong clinical training and a passion for patient care to apply. Strong communication skills, the ability to make critical decisions in fast-paced environments, and a commitment to patient care are essential to succeed in this role.
