Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students in a dynamic, all-grades school just north of Philadelphia. This part-time position focuses on providing essential assistance as a Paraprofessional/Behavior Specialist for a 17-year-old student with Autism and an intellectual disability. As a dedicated PCA, you’ll play a key role in fostering an inclusive environment, supporting the student’s needs every Tuesday and Thursday from 8:30 am to 4:00 pm.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Previous experience as a school Paraprofessional, PCA, or Behavior Specialist is highly desirable
• Demonstrated ability to support students with Autism and intellectual disabilities with sensitivity and professionalism
• Current PA clearances are required prior to your start date
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative attitude for working in a school setting

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the student with toileting needs and daily personal care while maintaining dignity and respect
• Provide engaging one-on-one support, ensuring a safe, positive learning experience
• Collaborate with teaching staff to reinforce instructional activities and behavior plans
• Maintain careful documentation of student progress and updates for team meetings
• Foster an inclusive, supportive atmosphere within a small district where every contribution matters
