Sanitation Technician- 3rd Shift

Shift and Compensation Shift: 10:00PM–6:00AM. Hourly rate: $23.45 + $0.75 shift differential. Reporting to the Sanitation Team Leader, you will support sanitation and basic janitorial operations at our Louisville, Kentucky facility. Responsibilities Perform cleaning, sanitation, and basic janitorial duties across production areas, offices, and common spaces. Clean and sanitize production equipment, floors, walls, and facility surfaces. Disassemble and reassemble equipment as needed for proper cleaning. Follow sanitation procedures, safety guidelines, and regulatory standards. Properly use cleaning chemicals, tools, and personal protective equipment. Remove waste, dispose of materials correctly, and maintain cleanliness throughout the facility. Inspect equipment and work areas to ensure cleanliness and compliance with food safety standards. Document sanitation activities and report any issues to leadership. Support production teams by ensuring equipment and areas are ready for operation. Maintain a safe, organized, and compliant work environment. Qualifications High school diploma or GED. Experience in sanitation, janitorial, or manufacturing environments preferred. Knowledge of sanitation processes and food safety standards preferred. Mechanical aptitude to disassemble and reassemble equipment. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Strong teamwork and communication skills. Willingness to work flexible schedules, including overtime. Commitment to following all safety and sanitation procedures. Physical Requirements Being on your feet, walking around the facility, climbing stairs/ladders, or kneeling for extended periods. Performing consistent repetitive tasks.
