Partnerships Director, Northeast Region

Partnerships Director, Northeast Region Join to apply for the role at Just Right Reader. Our comprehensive resources are designed to support all learners, including upper‑grade students requiring additional intervention to develop foundational skills. Grounded in the Science of Reading, our high‑quality materials and tools equip educators with the support they need to accelerate achievement and foster lifelong readers. The Role Are you a former principal, assistant principal, ELA or curriculum leader who wants to keep making a difference in literacy, from a new angle? We are looking for a Partnerships Lead who understands how schools operate and how literacy decisions get made. This is an opportunity to support other leaders in advancing reading outcomes at scale. As a Partnerships Director, you will work directly with district and school leaders, understand their needs, and bring them solutions that help students learn to read. You will also grow our presence across the region by developing relationships, attending regional events, and building long‑term partnerships. THIS ROLE REQUIRES TRAVEL WITHIN THE DESIGNATED REGION What You’ll Do Build strong, trusted relationships with school and district leaders Actively generate new opportunities by identifying leads, making outreach, and developing a robust pipeline Own the full sales cycle from first conversation through signed agreement Deeply understand local literacy priorities, funding sources, and district goals to position Just Right Reader as the right solution Represent Just Right Reader at regional conferences, events, and meetings with decision‑makers Collaborate with internal teams to ensure a smooth handoff and successful long‑term implementation Consistently meet or exceed your goals for district growth and product adoption What You Bring At least 3 years of experience as a school or district leader (such as principal, assistant principal, curriculum director, or instructional coach) Strong understanding of foundational literacy and the science of reading Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced environment and contribute to a collaborative team Comfort with storytelling, strategy, and working with data to guide decisions A natural drive to sell – this can mean you’ve closed deals in education, pitched programs to your district, or even worked retail in college.
