Custodian/Floor Technician

Job Description The Facilities Department at Auburn University at Montgomery is accepting applications for a Custodian/Floor Technician. Auburn University at Montgomery reserves the right once interviewing has begun to stop accepting applications. Responsibilities Cleans and performs minor repairs on University buildings to ensure that facilities are in suitable condition for scheduled activities. Cleaning duties may include tasks such as cleaning bathrooms, dusting, removing trash, etc. Strips, sands, waxes, seals, buffs, sweeps, shampoos, and mops various types of floor surfaces. Maintains equipment and supplies in order to complete tasks. May assist in setting up for events.
