Floor Care Technician

Floor Care Technician Responsible for floor finishing, carpet cleaning, and general cleaning in Baptist Health hospital and non-hospital facilities. Completes all tasks assigned on a daily basis. May have additional duties within scope of the role. Qualifications High School diploma or equivalent. At least one year of floor care experience preferable. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Key Responsibilities Interact with all levels of peers, customers and management. Work safely around chemicals, dust and adjust work hours as needed. Adjust schedule to meet customer demands. Observe, assess, and record work, safety and infection control standards. Work independently and as part of a team. Foster a cooperative work environment. Monitor and maintain quality control standards. Know supplies, equipment, and ordering inventory control. Maintain professional and customer‑centric composure in difficult situations. Work from broad directions and be self‑motivated. Prioritize workload to achieve maximum efficiency. Working Conditions / Physical Requirements Sitting 1% of the workday, mobility 99%. Frequent stooping, bending, kneeling, crouching, reaching, use of hands and repetitive action. Occasional lifting or carrying up to 75 lbs, pushing/pulling up to 150 lbs, equipment up to 350 lbs. Continuous need for speaking with clear diction and hearing sensitivity. Continuous visual acuity at close and distant range. Indoor, protected from weather, variable temperature; medium noise levels.
