Shift Schedule: 3rd Shift Sunday to Wednesday 8:00 am to 8:00 pm

3rd Shift Thursday to Sunday 8:00 am to 8:00 pm

Shifts are subject to periodic rotation every 8 weeks.

Starting Pay Range: $20.15 - $28.85 /hr

SUMMARY

Inspects, oils, and greases moving parts of friction surfaces of mechanical equipment such as shaft and motor bearings, sprockets, drive chains, gears, and pulleys by performing the following duties.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Fills container such as oilcan, grease gun, or tank of lubrication truck with specified lubricant.

Squirts or pours oil on moving parts and friction surfaces, or into holes, oil cups, or reservoirs.

Turns oil cup valves to regulate flow of oil to moving parts.

Forces grease into bearings with grease gun, smears grease on friction surfaces, or packs grease cups by hand.

Fills wells and sumps of lubricating systems with oil.

Reports machinery defects or malfunctions to supervisor.

Cleans machines, sweep floors, and transport stock.

Documents of inspections for predictive maintenance scheduling.

Requirements:

6 months of work experience in industrial/manufacturing/construction or landscaping environment.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

Maintain an updated forklift drivers license (renewable every 3 years).

Must be able to work long hours and tow a charged water hose. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, moving mechanical parts, and extreme heat. The employee is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles and toxic or caustic chemicals. The noise level in the work environment is usually very loud.

Rehire Criteria:

· Former Tyson Team Members must be separated from the company for a minimum of 180 calendar days.

NEW HIRE SIGN-ON Bonus: $3,000.00 sign-on bonus paid out $500.00 at 30 days, $1,000.00 paid out at 90 days, and $1,500.00 paid out at 6 months.
