Position Summary

Seeking an experienced Radiologic Technologist to provide diagnostic imaging services in a busy 24-hour department. The department performs approximately 150 exams per 24-hour period and provides services to both inpatient and outpatient populations .

The technologist will perform routine radiographic and fluoroscopic examinations and assist with various procedures, including C-arm procedures and lumbar punctures.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of recent Radiologic Technologist experience

• ARRT (RT) – Required

• AHA BLS – Required

• OR experience – Required

• Fluoroscopy experience – Required

• Experience working in both inpatient and outpatient settings

• Strong knowledge of routine X-ray and fluoroscopic procedures

• Ability to work effectively in a high-volume diagnostic radiology department

Procedures & Exams

Experience with the following is required or strongly expected:

• Routine X-rays

• Fluoroscopic exams

• Inpatient and outpatient fluoroscopy

• C-arm procedures

• Lumbar punctures

• Inpatient and outpatient diagnostic imaging

Department Details

• 24-hour Diagnostic Radiology department

• Approximately 150 exams per 24-hour period

• Serves both inpatient and outpatient populations

• Cerner EMR

Holiday Requirement

Northside requires travelers to work:

2 Major Holidays out of the following 3:

• Thanksgiving Day

• Christmas Day

• New Year's Day

AND 1 Minor Holiday:

• Friday after Thanksgiving

• Christmas Eve

• New Year's Eve

Additional Information

• No local candidates within 50 miles

• 40 hours/week

• Day shift

• 13-week assignment
