Overview: 92.3 The Fan (WKRK-FM) in Cleveland has an immediate opening for an energetic Full-Time Producer and Remote Broadcast Technician. We are looking for a dedicated individual to help create the best on-air product possible in high pressure environments. The ideal candidate will adeptly manage deadlines and the flexible schedule that the broadcast industry requires and has an enthusiasm for broadcasting on-location and in-studio. Responsibilities What You'll Do: Serving as the primary on-site producer/engineer for 92.3 The Fan's sports play-by-play and remote talk show broadcasts. Maintaining remote studio operations for the duration of programming. Aid in content gathering efforts before, during, and after broadcasts. When not participating in remote broadcasts, operate in-studio operations/production Qualifications More About You: Required & Preferred: Knowledge of basic remote broadcasting equipment and wireless microphone operation. Audio editing ability within single and multi-track sessions. Familiarity of on-air studio operations. Excellent time management in deadline driven situations. Flexibility to work different shifts. Ability to work on location (travel) for extended periods. A valid driver’s license, satisfactory completion of a motor vehicle record check, and, if the position requires use of applicant’s own vehicle, proof of insurance, is required. Preferred: Experience with Adobe Audition or similar programs preferred. Preferred two seasons of remote broadcast experience in a sport setting and studio board operations.
