Bivocational Pastor
Part-time
New Harvest Baptist Church located in Delaware’s capital city of Dover is seeking a pastor to lead our congregation of approximately 60 active and outreach-minded members. Our church focus is on evangelism and missions, along with feeding our members and friends with God’s love. New Harvest Baptist Church formed in 2013 by 48 members most of whom were active in church ministry and leadership. The Church is comprised primarily of seniors and a few young adults. Sunday School classes continue to grow with over 50% of the members attending. We have active small groups and mission-based groups. We are meeting in a rented facility. Property has been purchased and we are working toward obtaining a facility of our own.
Currently we have an interim pastor ministering to our congregation as we seek the Lord’s guidance in finding a permanent Pastor. We look forward to interviewing candidates who can appreciate the conservative Bible-based needs of our congregation while complementing and promoting our strong desire to reach our community as well as developing new ministries in order to bring the Gospel to the lost.
