We are seeking a Quality Assurance Lead to join our team. This role will involve leading QA strategy, managing testing efforts across large-scale enterprise programs, and ensuring delivery of high-quality, fully tested solutions. The ideal candidate will have experience in QA leadership, SaaS platforms, multi-system integrations, and a passion for driving quality in complex transformation initiatives.

Job Description:


The Quality Assurance Lead plays a critical role in delivering high-quality solutions within large-scale enterprise transformation programs. The Quality Assurance Lead is responsible for both strategic QA leadership and hands-on testing activities across multiple projects involving cloud-based SaaS platforms.


The Quality Assurance Lead will oversee QA Analysts, coordinate with business, technical, and vendor teams, and ensure all deliverables meet quality standards and business requirements. The Quality Assurance Lead operates in a leadership capacity while also contributing directly to test planning, execution, and defect management.


Additionally, the Quality Assurance Lead ensures proper QA governance, develops testing strategies, and drives continuous improvement in environments where test automation maturity is evolving. This role requires experience in complex systems, preferably in transportation or large operational infrastructures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead QA strategy, planning, and execution across enterprise programs (10+ years experience)
• Manage and mentor QA Analysts while overseeing multiple testing workstreams (5+ years experience)
• Develop QA frameworks, standards, test plans, and test cases (2+ years experience)
• Perform hands-on manual and automation testing (2+ years experience)
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams including business, development, and vendors (5+ years experience)
• Oversee vendor testing and validate deliverables for quality and compliance (3+ years experience)
• Execute regression, functional, and integration testing (3+ years experience)
• Define and track QA metrics such as defect density and test coverage (2+ years experience)
• Manage QA schedules, risks, and dependencies across concurrent projects (5+ years experience)
• Support release management, configuration control, and documentation (3+ years experience)
• Ensure adherence to Agile, Iterative, and Waterfall methodologies (2+ years experience)
• Provide QA governance and promote best practices across teams (5+ years experience)

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 10+ years of experience in software quality assurance and testing
• 5+ years of QA leadership experience managing large programs
• 1+ year of experience with cloud-based SaaS implementations
• 2+ years of experience in multi-vendor or system integration environments
• 2+ years of experience in both manual and automation testing
• 2+ years of experience developing QA strategies, test plans, and metrics
• 1+ year of experience using tools such as Azure DevOps, JIRA, or HP ALM
• 2+ years of experience working in Agile, Iterative, and Waterfall environments
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills (5+ years experience)
• Ability to balance leadership and hands-on execution effectively

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
• Experience in government, public sector, or regulated industries
• Experience with transportation or mass transit systems
• Knowledge of test data management and performance testing
• Familiarity with automation frameworks and tools
• Certifications such as PMP, CSM, or SAFe
