Job Responsibilities

• Perform thorough patient evaluations, including physical examinations and comprehensive medical history reviews
• Assist in diagnosing surgical conditions by analyzing imaging studies and lab data
• Work hand in hand with surgeons to develop and implement tailored surgical treatment plans
• Provide crucial intraoperative support, including setting up operating rooms, ensuring proper patient positioning, and managing surgical instruments during procedures
• Offer exceptional pre- and post-operative care, which includes administering medications, managing wound care, discharge planning, and patient education

Education Requirements

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• The completion of clinical rotations focused on surgical care is highly preferred

Certification Requirements

• Active and unrestricted PA-C certification
• BLS and ACLS certifications mandatory
• State licensure (or eligibility) as a Physician Assistant
