Job Responsibilities

• Perform thorough patient assessments, including physical examinations and comprehensive medical history evaluations

• Provide intraoperative assistance by preparing operating rooms, ensuring proper patient positioning, and handing surgical instruments during operations
• Offer outstanding pre- and post-operative care, including administering medications, managing wounds, planning discharges, and educating patients

Qualifications

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Completion of clinical rotations with an emphasis on surgical experience is highly preferred

Certifications

• Active and unrestricted PA-C certification is essential
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• State licensure or eligibility as a Physician Assistant
