Registered Nurse (RN) - MedSurg Float

Role Overview: Provides patient-centered nursing care by performing assessments, diagnoses, planning, implementation, and evaluation based on evidence-based practices. Ensures individualized care through effective partnerships, cultural competence, and adherence to clinical standards. Key Responsibilities Coordinate safe, quality care and documentation within a collaborative team environment. Utilize interdisciplinary communication methods to promote respectful, inclusive care. Support performance improvement initiatives, research, and shared governance activities. Serve as a preceptor or mentor to foster a qualified, professional nursing workforce. Promote evidence-based practice, participate in clinical research, and ensure compliance with organizational policies and safety standards. Plan proactively for patient care across the continuum, developing protocols to optimize outcomes. Qualifications & Skills Graduate of an accredited nursing program; BSN preferred. Current RN license (single or multi-state), BLS certification, and instructor/provisional BLS as required. Knowledge of nursing theory, regulations, assessment, treatment techniques, and documentation. Strong communication, judgment, and emergency response skills. Ability to maintain effective relationships and handle large volumes of patient data accurately. Basic understanding of cardiac conditions and treatments. #J-18808-Ljbffr
