Registered Nurse (RN) - MedSurg Float

Role Overview: This position involves providing patient-centered nursing care by performing assessments, diagnoses, planning, implementation, and evaluation using evidence-based practices. The nurse collaborates with patients and their families to deliver individualized care that respects cultural diversity and patient goals. Key Responsibilities: Coordinate safe, quality care through effective communication, documentation, and teamwork. Participate in performance improvement, research, and evidence-based practice activities. Support resource management and develop protocols to enhance patient outcomes. Serve as a preceptor or mentor to other nurses and staff. Qualifications & Skills: Requires graduation from an accredited nursing program, RN licensure (multi-state preferred), and Basic Life Support certification. Must possess strong assessment, communication, and clinical skills, with knowledge of nursing theory, regulations, and emergency response. Ability to maintain effective relationships and process large volumes of patient information efficiently.
