Role Description The Customer Account Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Milwaukee, WI, responsible for managing and supporting customer accounts in industrial and OEM markets. This role includes responding to customer inquiries, coordinating orders, tracking shipments, and resolving service or delivery issues in collaboration with sales, logistics, and production teams. The specialist maintains accurate account records, prepares order and status reports, and proactively communicates timelines, pricing, and product information to customers. Daily activities involve monitoring customer satisfaction, managing account workflows, and ensuring that service levels align with company standards and ISO-certified processes. The role also supports continuous improvement by identifying recurring issues, providing feedback to internal teams, and helping implement solutions that enhance the customer experience. Qualifications Strong customer service and customer support skills, with a focus on building long-term relationships and managing accounts professionally. Ability to drive customer satisfaction through proactive communication, follow-up, and issue resolution. Effective communication skills, including clear verbal and written interactions with customers and internal teams. Solid analytical skills to interpret order data, logistics information, and customer trends, and to support problem-solving and decision-making. Experience in an industrial, manufacturing, or OEM environment is beneficial, especially in sectors such as oil and gas, engines, or heavy equipment. Proficiency with CRM systems, ERP or order management software, and standard office applications (e.g., Excel, Word, email). Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple customer accounts and priorities simultaneously.
