Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations
• Prepare and review payroll, sales tax and 1099 filings
• Assist with monthly and annual closing processes, budgeting and forecasting
• Prepare financial statements and management reports
• Communicate with clients to address accounting and compliance questions
• Stay current with evolving accounting standards and best practices
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Associate’s degree in Accounting or related field
• 2+ years of experience in accounting, bookkeeping or finance
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and regulations
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, QuickBooks and other accounting software
• Strong analytical, communication and organizational skills
