Quality Control Associate

Quality Control Associate located in Cleveland, OH 44125 (Onsite). Details for the position are as follows:
Job Description:

- Contract to Start, conversion/extension on performance
- Shift Schedule: Monday - Friday, 40hrs./week
- Pay Rate: $20 - 26/Hour (W2, Biweekly)
Job Description:
- Work closely with department supervisor and Team Leads to ensure that departmental tasks are completed on time.
- Follow all safety requirements and refer to MSDS for PPE and other safety guidance.
- Practice proper laboratory safety and waste disposal.
- Perform testing per documented procedure.
- Able to recognize out-of-spec (OOS) results and initiate OOS investigation.
- Pays attention to detail and brings issues to Team Lead(s) or Supervisor's attention.
- Has the ability to take on smaller projects/reoccurring tasks with minimal oversight.
- Demonstrate Good Documentation Practices (GDP) and Data Integrity Principles.
- Knowledge of the chemistry and instrumentation for the following analysis: FT-IR, pH, Moisture content via Karl Fischer, Specific Rotation, Auto-titrations and other wet chemistry analysis.
- Compendial knowledge and testing experience: United States Pharmacopeia, European Pharmacopeia, and/or Japanese Pharmacopeia.
- Bachelor Degree with some industry experience preferred, or Associate Degree with 2+ years of industry experience
- Chemistry Skillset (i.e., Titrations, pH, Karl Fisher, FTIR, etc.)
- Compendia Knowledge/Experience, Preferred (i.e., US Pharmacopeia, etc.)
