Job Overview

Experienced Mammography Technologist needed for a 13‑week travel assignment in Anchorage, AK, starting June 29. This role requires advanced mammography skills, strong attention to positioning and image quality, and the ability to work independently in a high‑quality breast imaging program. Candidates who do not meet the required skills will not be considered.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform screening and diagnostic mammography with high quality positioning and technique.
• Operate digital mammography and tomosynthesis equipment and perform required image QC.
• Prepare patients, obtain clinical histories, and provide patient education and support.
• Assist with stereotactic guided wire localization and biopsies when required.
• Maintain accurate documentation, follow radiation safety protocols, and participate in weekly QC as needed.
• Float to MRI for breast positioning if requested.

Required Qualifications

• ARRT Registered Mammography (M) (R).
• 8 hours Tomosynthesis training (documented).
• Demonstrated experience in screening and diagnostic mammography.
• BLS current.
• Candidates without these skills will not be considered.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with stereotactic guided biopsies and wire localizations.
• Weekly Quality Control experience.
• Self‑starter, patient centered, detail oriented, and committed to high quality positioning and follow through.
