Project Manager

Relevate One is a Kansas City-based low-voltage and security integration company. We design and install video surveillance, access control, structured cabling, and networking systems for commercial clients across the metro. As we grow, we’re looking for a Project Manager to keep our installation projects on schedule, on budget, and running smoothly from kickoff to closeout. As Project Manager, you’ll be the main point of coordination between our field technicians, subcontractors, vendors, and clients. You’ll own project timelines and budgets, manage day-to-day logistics, and make sure every job is documented and closed out correctly. This is a hands-on role for someone who’s comfortable managing multiple concurrent low-voltage/security installation projects at once. What you’ll do: Plan and schedule installation projects, coordinating technicians, subcontractors, and equipment deliveries Track project budgets, change orders, and labor hours to keep jobs profitable Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle Coordinate permits, inspections, and AHJ (authority having jurisdiction) requirements Manage vendor and subcontractor relationships, including scope, pricing, and scheduling Maintain accurate project documentation, including as-built drawings, change logs, and closeout packages Identify and resolve scheduling conflicts, material delays, and scope issues before they impact the client Support the sales team with scoping and timeline input during the proposal stage Conduct regular site visits and progress reviews with field crews What you’ll need: 2+ years of project or program management experience, ideally in low-voltage, security integration, electrical, or construction Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously Comfort reading project plans, scopes of work, and technical drawings Clear, professional communication with clients, vendors, and internal teams Working knowledge of project management tools (scheduling software, CRM, or similar) Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to job sites throughout the Kansas City metro Preferred: PMP certification or formal project management training Experience with video surveillance, access control, or structured cabling projects Familiarity with permitting and inspection processes in the Kansas City area Experience managing subcontractor crews on commercial job sites Compensation and benefits: Competitive salary based on experience Health insurance Paid time off 401(k) retirement planl Ongoing professional development and training opportunities Relevate One is an equal opportunity employer.
