By hiring the best people and helping them grow both professionally and personally, we ensure a bright future for NTT DATA Services and for the people who work here.NTT DATA Services currently seeks a SQL Server Technical Lead to join our team in Phoenix, Arizona (US-AZ), United States (US).Technical Duties:As a SQL Server Technical Lead you will be responsible for the following:Understand the existing data warehouse/databases, inbound data files and data ingestion process.Analysis of business requirements required to design and build the data warehouse, data acquisition and transformation processes.Design and develop data warehouse elements, such as the databases, tables, indexes, data dictionary, process and security controls.Create databases, staging tables, target tables, indexes, data dictionary, metadata tables, archive and error tablesPrepare process flow and system flow diagrams for the data warehouse solution.Develop ETL processes/jobs including data transformations for inbound and outbound data filesDevelop ETL processes/jobs to handle data files – xls/xlsx, txt/csv, xml/jsonDesign and build dimensions and fact tables in SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS)Rewrite/Create SSRS reports aligned to modified schema and databasesContinuous Integration and Build AutomationProvide maintenance and support production databasesPerform code, design and deliverables review. Report on project progress and status on weekly/monthly basis.Develop and deliver the artifacts in Agile methodologyCollaborative team player with communication skills to match.Education: Bachelor/Master of Computer Application or equivalent engineering/IT degree from an accredited University.Technical Skills:8+ years of experience on Integration Services (SSIS), Extracting, Transforming and Loading (ETL) data from excel, pipe delimited, csv files to MS SQL Server by using SSIS servicesExperience with Data Modeling and in developing UML diagrams including Use Case diagrams, Class diagrams, Interaction diagrams, State diagrams and Deployment diagrams.Expert knowledge on SQL Server 2012/2008 RDBMS database development including T-SQL.Proficient with SQL4+ years of.NET Development experienceExperience with analyzing Execution Plan and managing indexes and troubleshooting deadlocks.5+ years of experience developing reports on SSAS & SSRS on SQL Server 2012/2008. Experience and understanding of SSAS, OLAP cube and architecture.Experience in designing and building dimensions and cubes with star schema using SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS)8+ years of experience in enhancing and deploying the SSIS Packages from development server to production server.Experience on application servers like IIS.Proficient in tools like Visual Studio, VSTS (Visual Studio Team Services), TFS (Team Foundation Server)/Azure DevOps.Familiarity with Agile methodologyExperience of working with teams across other geographies in onshore/offshore modelOptional/Good to Have:Understanding of Non-Relational databasesFunctional Skills:Nice to have Healthcare domain knowledge specially Payer domain around Membership, Claims, Pharmacy ordersThis position is only available to those interested in direct staff employment opportunities with NTT DATA, Inc. or its subsidiaries.
