Sr. Software Test Engineer

Senior Software Test Engineer position at ABIOMED focused on designing and executing test cases for medical device software systems. Role involves collaborating with developers and DevOps teams to enhance automation frameworks and mentor junior engineers in a hybrid work environment.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and execute manual test cases and protocols for software verification
Collaborate with software developers to enhance test automation framework capabilities
Partner with DevOps engineers to create Jenkins jobs and continuous integration pipelines
Work with cross-functional teams to design and develop test fixtures
Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior test engineers

Requirements

Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
3 years of experience as Sr. Software Test Engineer or related role
Proficiency in manual, automated, regression, integration, and performance testing
Python programming language expertise
Experience with Behave automation tool and Jenkins CI/CD pipelines
Jira bug tracking and Git code management proficiency

Compensation: $120,000 - $136,000/year
