Michael Aaron Staffing has partnered with a leading medical malpractice defense firm seeking an experienced Medical Malpractice Paralega l to support a busy litigation practice. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of medical malpractice litigation and the ability to manage complex cases from inception through trial.

This firm needs a highly skilled, organized, and proactive litigation paralegal who can independently manage complex medical malpractice matters while providing exceptional support to the legal team.

Qualifications

• Previous medical malpractice litigation experience required
• Strong knowledge of Florida civil litigation procedures
• Experience reviewing and summarizing medical records
• Excellent organizational and case management skills
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving

Responsibilities

• Manage medical malpractice case files from intake through resolution
• Review, organize, and summarize medical records
• Draft pleadings, discovery, subpoenas, and correspondence
• Coordinate depositions, expert witnesses, and trial preparation
• Maintain litigation calendars and deadlines
• Assist attorneys with trial preparation and courtroom support
