Job Responsibilities
- Develop Tailored Treatment Approaches: Assess patients' individual needs and design personalized therapy plans focused on reaching their functional goals.
- Implement Therapeutic Interventions: Employ evidence-based techniques to enhance patients' motor abilities, cognitive skills, and everyday activities.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nurses to deliver comprehensive, patient-centered care.
- Educate Patients and Families: Teach techniques to patients and caregivers to facilitate progress beyond therapy sessions.
- Track and Adjust Treatment: Monitor clinical outcomes and modify treatment strategies as necessary to keep patients progressing successfully.
- Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution
- Commitment to ongoing education and professional development supported through our resources
- Current active Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license
- NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is required
- Passion for helping others and a deep commitment to promoting independence
- Effective and empathetic communication skills with both patients and colleagues
- Creative problem-solving abilities to tailor interventions for diverse needs
- Comfortable working independently while also integrating into a close-knit, interdisciplinary team
