Collaborate with families and caregivers to support progress and generalization of skills. Work closely with BCBAs, RBTs, SLPs, PTs, and other professionals to coordinate care. Educate families on strategies and home programs that support continued progress. Participate in team meetings, continuing education and ongoing professional development. Use data and clinical judgment to monitor progress and guide treatment decisions. Clear opportunities for clinical and leadership growth OT-Led Clinical Mentorship: Weekly in-person mentorship is led by AAC’s Director of Occupational Therapy, Jonathon Haskell, OTD, OTR/L. Jonathon brings 11 years of pediatric experience, more than three years of academic, instructional, and clinical-education experience, and extensive experience managing multiple clinics and interdisciplinary teams. He combines doctoral-level education with practical clinical leadership and a demonstrated history of developing clinicians, strengthening teams, and supporting program growth. Individualized Clinical Development: Mentorship includes case consultation, clinical reasoning, evaluations, treatment planning, documentation, caregiver education, interdisciplinary collaboration, and personalized professional goals. The program is designed to support immediate clinical needs while helping each OT build confidence, sharpen their expertise, and identify a long‑term career path. Monthly Advanced Clinical Training: OTs receive advanced pediatric training in areas such as sensory processing and integration, feeding, fine and visual‑motor development, activities of daily living, trauma‑informed care, executive functioning, evidence‑based autism intervention, and interdisciplinary treatment planning. Growth Beyond the Treatment Room: OTs may also pursue opportunities in clinical specialization, mentorship, staff education, research, program development, and leadership Why AAC? At AAC, we believe clinicians should be able to focus on what they do best: providing excellent care to children and supporting their families. Our dedicated administrative and clinical support teams help reduce the burden of non‑clinical responsibilities, while our mentorship, training, and professional development programs help you continue to grow. If you're looking for a rewarding pediatric OT career with competitive compensation, a predictable center‑based schedule, manageable clinical expectations, and a team that truly invests in your growth, we'd love to meet you!
