A specialty pharmacy is seeking a skilled Pharmacist to provide expert care in a long-term care setting. This contract opportunity offers a chance to utilize your clinical expertise in a dynamic environment focused on specialized medication management and patient care.
Location: Faribault, MN
Duration: 13+ weeks
Hours: 24-40 hours per week
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM
- Some weekends required
Responsibilities:
- Perform long-term care pharmacist duties, ensuring accurate medication dispensing and patient safety
- Provide medication therapy management and counseling to patients and healthcare providers
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
- Maintain compliance with pharmacy regulations and standards
- Support immunization initiatives as needed
Qualifications/Desired Experience:
- PharmD degree or equivalent professional pharmacy degree
- Immunization Certification
- CPR Certification
- Medication Therapy Management (MTM) Certification preferred
- Strong knowledge of long-term care pharmacy practices
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
