Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)

Whether you’re seeking part-time or full-time work, we offer opportunities in both school and outpatient settings with flexible day hours. Certifications & Education Hold an Ohio SLP license. Obtain an Ohio Department of Education (ODE) certificate (we can assist with this). Experience with Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) or a strong interest in learning. Experience with students who have Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), low verbal or non-verbal abilities, Cerebral Palsy (CP), or Down Syndrome. Clinical Practice & Documentation Adhere to the professional code of ethics. Maintain strict confidentiality at all times. Complete comprehensive assessments in a timely manner, including all pertinent background information, billing details, and requisite documentation. Deliver therapy/intervention utilizing a variety of treatment models (individual, group, classroom; child-led, therapist-led, structured, semi-structured) as required by the contracting school/facility supervision and in the best interest of the students served. Utilize Evidence-Based and Experiential-Based Practices in the provision of therapy/intervention. Ensure all documentation of therapy/intervention services is current Documentation must be completed within 24 hours of treatment. Documentation shall be written in a SOAP format, inclusive of supporting data. Documentation must include time in/out, individual/group status, and place of treatment. Complete all documentation (evaluations, treatment notes, ETRs, IEPs, progress reports, etc.) by the deadlines established by the school/facility and third-party payers. Complete all required documentation by established deadlines to facilitate timely invoicing by Aaris Therapy. Complete all required documentation by established deadlines to enable Aaris Therapy to submit payroll and other necessary information in compliance with local, state, or federal employment laws. Professional Conduct & Collaboration Uphold the reputation of Aaris Therapy in every facility in which services are provided or supervised as an Aaris Therapy representative. Arrive punctually prior to the scheduled commencement of treatment. Optimize travel time to maximize time dedicated to students. Comply with all Aaris Therapy policies and procedures as outlined in the employee handbook and/or subsequent amendments. Collaborate with other professionals to ensure best practice for students, clients, and for professional development, respecting the professional input provided by other disciplines. Utilize and maintain facilities, equipment, and materials in an optimal condition and report any issues or re-ordering needs to supervisors. Work proficiently across a variety of settings (office, therapy room, hallway, classroom, etc.). Maintain awareness of and comply with all policies and procedures at all working locations. Establish professional goals for self-improvement. Provide support to newly qualified therapists and other Aaris Therapy therapists when feasible or when requested by a supervisor to assist a colleague at another facility. Plan and deliver training sessions as requested. Participate in clinical services reviews when requested. Execute other job duties as formally assigned.
