Job Description

As a kiln operator, you will load and unload ceramics parts, cores, or molds into the kiln according to production schedules. Set kiln up by adjusting temperature settings, firing durations, and cycle parameters. You will monitor kiln operation using gauges and control panels, record data and inspect fired products. Conduct routine cleaning and maintenance of kiln equipment.  

Responsibilities:

• Record data and inspect fired products
• Routine cleaning and maintenance of kiln equipment

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Mechanically inclined 
• Attention to detail, work independently, ability to multi-task effectively and efficiently 
• Must be able to pass pre-employment tests

The base salary for this position is $20.10/hr., excluding benefits, bonuses, or other compensation. Your final salary will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, location, and internal pay equity. Please note, hiring at the top of the range is uncommon to allow room for future salary growth.
