RN - Oncology Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Oncology Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day Shift Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum years of experience required: 2 years License: Current RN license Certifications: BLS Certified Must-Have: Experience in oncology, including mixed solid tumors, hematologic malignancies, bone marrow transplant, and cellular therapies. Experience caring for primary diagnoses including leukemia, lymphoma, multiple myeloma, and solid tumors. Proficiency with administration of cellular products and involvement in clinical trials. Familiarity with telemonitoring, patient-controlled analgesia (PCA) pumps, blood warmers, bladder scans, and Baxter pumps. Description:This position may require floating to other oncology units.The unit consists of three pods with ten beds in each pod.Staffing ratios are typically 1:3 to 1:4.Candidates must demonstrate a strong background in oncology nursing.Preferred candidates should have a solid understanding of the care protocols associated with oncology patients.Strong communication and teamwork skills are essential in this role.Candidate flexibility is required for rotation across various oncology specialties.The ideal candidate will be dedicated to providing high-quality care to patients with cancer. #J-18808-Ljbffr
