Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Active School Psychologist credential or eligibility for state licensure
- Master’s or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology or a closely related field
- Experience conducting psychological and educational assessments
- Strong knowledge of Response to Intervention (RTI), IEP processes, and special education regulations
- Exceptional communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to provide crisis intervention and consultation to staff, students, and families
Primary Responsibilities:
- Administer psychological assessments and interpret results to guide instruction and services
- Participate in multidisciplinary evaluation teams and contribute to eligibility decisions
- Develop/monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs)
- Provide direct counseling, behavioral support, and crisis intervention as needed
- Consult with teachers, administrators, and parents to support student development
- Offer professional development and resources for school staff regarding student mental health and behavioral strategies
