Service Center Operations Manager

Overview A global manufacturing company is seeking a Service Center Operations Manager to join the team. This is a senior, hands-on leadership role for the Houston location. The Service Center Operations Manager is responsible for operational execution, team performance, and financial results while ensuring safety, quality, and customer satisfaction. Salary & Benefits $90,000–$105,000 10% Annual Bonus Potential 401K - company match Location: Houston, TX Type of Position: Direct Hire Responsibilities Lead Service Center and Field Service teams to achieve Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost (SQDC) objectives. Oversee daily service operations, including production planning, resource scheduling, and service order execution. Ensure customer commitments are met while operating within budget expectations. Drive and reinforce strict compliance with HSE standards and ISO requirements. Lead continuous improvement initiatives, lean processes, and operational excellence efforts. Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Customer Service, Quality, Manufacturing, and Scheduling teams. Manage service cost performance and results impacting P&L. Maintain accountability for assigned cost center(s). Recruit, develop, coach, and retain a high-performing service organization. Foster an engaged, collaborative culture aligned with our client\'s core values and leadership expectations. Requirements High school diploma required; technical diploma or university degree preferred 4+ years of business or financial management experience, including 2+ years in a leadership role Experience in heat exchanger service, industrial maintenance, or similar operational environments preferred Proven ability to lead teams independently, manage multiple priorities, and make sound operational decisions Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and project management skills Lean or continuous improvement experience strongly preferred Proficiency in Microsoft Office and technical systems Federal and Government Contract Requires US Citizenship or US National: This position requires the employee to hold US citizenship or US national status, given the job’s involvement with sensitive and/or classified U.S. military information, consistent with federal regulation and government contract requirements. #J-18808-Ljbffr Murray Resources - Best Staffing Agency
