Shift: 8H Days, Monday-Friday, 0700-1500

Hours/Week: 40

Required Licenses/Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, Valid Driver's License

Experience: Minimum 3 years RN experience; at least 1.5 years specifically in Cath Lab within the last year

What You'll Do

• Provide patient care in a high-acuity cardiac and peripheral vascular lab environment
• Perform circulating, scrubbing, and hemodynamic monitoring duties for complex procedures (e.g., TAVR, MitraClip, laser atherectomy)
• Manage vasoactive drugs, sedation, and critical patient assessment
• Support on the unit with charge RN duties
• Float between Willis Knighton Pierremont and Bossier facilities, as needed
• Participate in orientation and precepting, including a week at the Innovation Center
• Maintain accurate documentation in EMR (Meditech Expanse)
• Prepare and operate advanced imaging equipment (Philips, IVUS, EKOS, FFR, Laser)

What You Need

Required:

• Valid Louisiana RN license
• BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications
• 3+ years RN experience, with 1.5+ years in Cath Lab
• Ability to scrub, monitor, and circulate in cardiac and peripheral vascular procedures
• Experience with complex interventional procedures and equipment
• Valid driver's license for facility floating
• Flexibility to work callovers (2/week) and every 3rd weekend
• Strong critical thinking and sterile technique skills

Preferred:

• Experience with Merge hemodynamic monitoring systems
• RCIS certification
• Experience with Impella, Rotoblater, IABP, Pnumbra, Laser, Lithotripsy atherectomy
