Mechanical Assembler / Warehouse Technician


Location: Farmers Branch, TX
Pay: $18.00-$20.00/hour, based on experience
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM-4:30 PM
Position Type: Full-Time

Mechanical Assembly Experience Required


We are hiring a Mechanical Assembler / Warehouse Technician for a company that provides customized mobility and rehabilitation equipment for individuals with disabilities and mobility challenges.


This is not strictly a warehouse position. We need someone who combines solid warehouse experience with strong hands-on mechanical ability.


The right candidate should be comfortable assembling, adjusting and working on mechanical equipment using a variety of hand and power tools and must be able to read and follow drawings, specifications, diagrams and/or assembly prints.


Experience assembling or servicing Durable Medical Equipment (DME), Complex Rehab Technology (CRT), wheelchairs, mobility equipment or similar products is highly desirable, but is NOT required. Candidates with strong mechanical assembly experience from other industries will absolutely be considered.

What You'll Do

• Perform mechanical assembly using hand and power tools
• Read and follow drawings, specifications, diagrams and assembly instructions
• Assemble, adjust and prepare equipment according to specifications
• Receive incoming materials and verify shipments
• Pull and stage orders accurately
• Assist with shipping and receiving
• Maintain accurate inventory and material organization
• Perform general warehouse duties as needed
• Inspect completed work for accuracy and quality
• Maintain a clean, safe and organized work area

What We're Looking For


Required:

• Previous mechanical assembly experience
• Strong experience using a variety of hand and power tools
• Ability to read and follow drawings, specifications, diagrams and/or prints
• Previous warehouse experience, including shipping, receiving, inventory and order pulling
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow precise instructions
• Dependable work history and reliable attendance
• Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team

Highly Preferred:

• Durable Medical Equipment (DME) experience
• Complex Rehab Technology (CRT) experience
• Experience assembling, repairing or modifying wheelchairs or mobility equipment
• Mechanical assembly experience involving customized or specification-driven products
