Our culture is unique in that we offer the growth opportunities of a large company, but we still maintain that “small town feel” and strong community here at PAM.**About this opportunity**In the role you will operate independently and as part of a team to ensure our software, hardware, and related components are protected from cyber attacks. The job description will include developing security systems, analyzing current systems for vulnerabilities, and handling any and all cyber attacks in an efficient and effective manner. Candidates should have strong IT skills and a deep understanding of cyber hacker methodology.**Pay and Schedule**This position is on site Monday - Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm. The pay range is $65k - $95k/year dependent on experience.**Benefits Offered*** Medical, Dental, and Vision Plans* Retirement Plan and 401K with match* PTO & Paid Holidays* Paid Weekly* Direct Deposit**How will you contribute to the success of the team?*** Develop unique, effective security strategies for software systems, networks, and hardware* Research best ways to secure company-wide IT infrastructure* Build, configure, and maintain firewalls to protect network infrastructures* QA software and hardware for security vulnerabilities and risks* Monitor software for external intrusions, attacks, and hacks* Work with 3rd parties to periodically perform Network Heath Assessments and Penetration Testing* Identify cyber attackers; report to upper management, and legal forces if necessary* Work independently or as part of a team as needed* Develop Cybersecurity Policies and Procedures; provide user awareness training with simulated phishing attacks**What makes you a strong candidate for this position?*** Bachelor’s degree in computer science, cybersecurity or STEM subject preferred* Completion of an internship/apprenticeship in cybersecurity a plus* Strong IT skills including knowledge on hardware, software, networks, and data centers* Thorough work ethic, attention to detail* Skills of perception and QA, ability to identify vulnerabilities and overall issues* Critical thinking skills, problem solving aptitude* Forensic approach to challenges* Ability to think like a hacker and anticipate hacker moves* Desire to self-educate on the ever-changing landscape of cyber hacking tactics* Cisco Certified Security Professional (CCSP), CompTIA Security+, or related security certifications a plus*The company will provide reasonable accommodations to employees who require them to perform the essential functions of their job to the extent it does not impose an undue hardship or create a risk of harm to the employee or others.**PAM Transport is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer and Drug Free workplace.
