IT Support Specialist

Primary Function: As an experienced helpdesk tech, you will help navigate our users to a successful resolution of their IT problems. You will be tasked to take calls and emails from all lines of business and get them logged into our Case management system. You will be encouraged to leverage the team's knowledge base in order to solve problems and continue to build skills necessary to further your career in IT. This position is work from the office. Typical Duties: Log calls, emails, and other interactions into case management system Work with employees to identify their issues, and resolve them Serve as the first line of defense in IT to solve IT problems as they arise Assist IT department on various projects Skills, Knowledge, Qualifications, & Experience: Great customer service skills a must The ability to diagnose problems analytically and solve them quickly Technology Degree or certifications and 3-5 years direct IT experience required Knowledge of Windows 10/11, Dell hardware, Office 365, and basic networking in a home and business setting Virtualization, SAN, SQL, and Azure a plus Salary Range: $25 - $30 per hour based on experience (FSLA Non-Exempt) Benefits: Full Benefits Matching 401(k) Paid Time Off Paid Holidays Equal Opportunity Employer About Pacific Rim Mechanical Pacific Rim Mechanical is the premier mechanical contractor in Southern California.
