Essential Functions Creating and maintaining of facility spreadsheets Prepares and maintains employee files Files papers and documents into appropriate employee files; performs paper and system audits as necessary Enters data into HRIS system ensuring the accuracy of information Processes new-hire, status change and termination paperwork Processes and administers leave of absence requests and disability paperwork Participates in recruitment and interview processes Performs other duties as assigned Competencies 1 to 2 years of direct experience in HR field Ability to effectively respond to and interact with all levels of organizational staff, including executives Competencies include excellent presentation/facilitation, organizational, analytical, interpersonal and written/oral communication skills Requires high level computer expertise, including use of database, word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation applications Flexible, innovative in a fast paced, growth-oriented and time-critical environment Supervisory Responsibility This role does not have any supervisory responsibility upon hiring. Physical Demands This position is very active and requires 98% standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing ladders. The employee may have to lift and/or move items over 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Position Type/Expected Hours of Work This is a full-time 1st shift position. Schedule is Monday through Friday. Travel Local travel is expected for this position.
