Resumen de la posición El Departamento de Salud del Condado de Fairfax (FCHD) busca un Director de Comunicaciones para liderar las comunicaciones externas en emergencias de salud pública, incidentes o brotes. Este rol implica coordinar las comunicaciones internas y externas, las relaciones con los medios, las actualizaciones del sitio web, las campañas en redes sociales y supervisar la producción de publicaciones oficiales. Responsabilidades Informar a los funcionarios del Condado sobre incidentes significativos. Tomar decisiones bajo presión y plazos respecto a la información que puede ser liberada a los medios. Coordinar y proporcionar información sobre incidentes de emergencia y otros asuntos sensibles a los medios de comunicación. Planificar, dirigir y ejecutar campañas de publicidad diseñadas para informar a los ciudadanos sobre varios programas, eventos o legislaciones del condado. Supervisar el trabajo de los subordinados involucrados en actividades de información pública. Establecer y mantener relaciones de trabajo efectivas con miembros de los medios. Responder a solicitudes de información sobre programas de la agencia/condado. Brindar asistencia al personal de la agencia/condado sobre los medios más efectivos de comunicar información al público en general, empleados del gobierno y otros grupos objetivos. Interactuar directamente con la Junta de Supervisores y la Oficina del Ejecutivo del Condado en nombre del departamento. Proveer liderazgo estratégico en comunicación para el departamento/división. Calificaciones Experiencia demostrada en seguridad pública (bomberos, policía, salud, seguridad). Al menos 7 años de experiencia en gestión y supervisión, incluyendo 5 años en medios o comunicaciones. 4 años de experiencia en redes sociales. Capacidad para desarrollar programas informativos, hablar en público y trabajar con los medios.
