Our organization is in search of a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Acute Care Surgeon who has completed fellowship training in Surgical Critical Care or Trauma Surgery. This position is available within the Division of Acute Care Surgery at a prominent hospital located in Bay Shore, New York.

This role presents an exciting chance to become part of a flourishing Level I Trauma Center and an expanding academic surgery program. The ideal candidate will join a collaborative team dedicated to achieving excellence in trauma care, emergency general surgery, surgical critical care, education, and research.

• ACS-verified Level I Trauma Center
• Support from a dedicated Advanced Practice Provider (APP) model
• Approximately 800 trauma and surgical admissions each year
• Rotation through Trauma, Acute Care Surgery, and Surgical ICU services
• Become part of an established team of Acute Care Surgeons
• Engage actively in one of the newest General Surgery Residency programs
• Academic appointment available through a prestigious medical school

This facility is a 341-bed tertiary care hospital and serves as a regional hub for advanced medical and surgical services.
