Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and experienced Preschool Teacher to join our team! Flowers Daycare Center is currently looking for a compassionate, self-motivated and professional individual with a specific interest in education 
You are passionate about learning and helping students reach their potential. With strong creative and problem-solving skills, you love connecting with individual students and creating an engaging classroom environment. 

Responsibilities

• The successful candidate must enjoy working with children as the Lead Teacher and be devoted to building a nurturing and safe environment. 
• To excel in this position, you must demonstrate the ability to be a team player, as well as in-depth knowledge of classroom activities and teaching.
• Assist children with developing social and emotional skills
• Use a range of instructional methods and learning techniques
• Communicate with parents and other school personnel
• Assess student's skills and performance to ensure they are meeting developmental milestones

Qualifications

• High School, bachelor’s degree, 6 semester or 90 clock hours or equivalent of approved early childhood coursework 
• Strong understanding of child development principles and best practices in education and classroom management
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Knowledge of classroom health, safety, and sanitation guidelines and ability to closely adhere to the guidelines
• Problem-solving and mediation skills
