Position OverviewThis role offers a diverse range of cases, including:
- General Surgery
- Orthopedics
- OB/GYN
- Neurosurgery
- Vascular Surgery
- Trauma Care
While experience in Cardiac procedures is advantageous, it is not a requirement (additional compensation is available for cardiac expertise). Please note that this position does not involve complex pediatrics, burns, or transplant cases. This is a full-time, hospital-employed W-2 position.
Our physicians and CRNAs thrive in a collaborative environment characterized by mutual respect and a shared commitment to patient care. The supervision model maintains a maximum ratio of 4:1. To uphold a 1.0 FTE status, MDs are expected to work 2,060 hours annually, with call responsibilities shared equally among the team.
Qualifications- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree
- Completion of an ACGME-accredited anesthesiology residency program
- Board certification from the American Board of Anesthesiology (ABA) or the American Osteopathic Board of Anesthesiology (AOBA), or the ability to obtain such certification within three years of employment
- Valid Idaho medical license and privileges at our medical center and affiliated hospitals as required; must possess a valid controlled substance registration with the Board of Pharmacy and DEA
