Assistant Manager PositionThe primary role of the assistant manager at Chaar is to maintain high levels of sales and customer engagement, both individually, and part of the store team. Additionally, the assistant manager may be involved in all other aspects of running the store and helping customers and staff as needed. Our ideal Assistant Manager is outgoing, ambitious in nature, detail oriented, and determined to create the best shopping experience for our customers. They are organized and adept at time management skills. Prior retail experience in sales and customer service is required. This is not a remote work position. Must be available to work weekends & evenings as needed. Work Location: 291 Town Center Blvd, Easton, PA 18040 *6 to 8 weeks of training will occur at 1635 Airport Rd, Allentown, PA 18109*Core ResponsibilitiesSales, customer service, & customer engagementMaintain store displays, appearance, & cleanlinessReceive, stock, and manage rotation of inventoryAssist store manager in managing, training and coaching staffExemplify the work ethic, values, and skillsResolve conflict, customer complaints, and other unexpected / unplanned incidentsAssist in all areas related to the successful operation of the storeQualificationsOutgoing, "Customer First" mentalityMust have open availability including evenings and weekendsGED/High School Diploma requiredMinimum of 1 year retail work experience.
