The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for providing administrative support and assistance to Logistics Account Managers for the daily operations of their accounts. This includes synchronizing and expediting route movement for shipping and receiving of freight, arranging pickup and delivery appointments, and creating and inspecting bills of lading (BOLS) to determine proper invoicing. Responsibilities Include Contacting customers, carriers, or distribution facilities to resolve problems or make adjustments as needed. Continuously communicating with the Logistics Account Manager and trainee(s) to ensure proper maintenance of accounts. Negotiating contracts for individual freight shipments Required Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree in business administration or other related fields of logistics strongly preferred. Bilingual (English/Spanish) Strongly preferred. Ability to think proactively and plan ahead. Knowledge of multiple transportation and logistics disciplines. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to multi-task and problem-solve. 1+ years of load planning, data coordinating, or transportation and customer service experience is strongly preferred. Base salary is $42,000 with the potential to bonus quarterly based on team performance.
