Employee Benefits Associate - Health & Welfare (Raleigh or Winston Salem)

Our client is seeking an Employee Benefits Associate Attorney with 3+ years of experience working with health and welfare plans to join their Employee Benefits & Tax team. The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical, writing, and verbal communication skills, supported by strong academic credentials. Experience advising clients on a wide range of issues affecting health and welfare plans is preferred, including: Compliance with ERISA, COBRA, HIPAA, the Affordable Care Act, and other relevant laws Reviewing third‑party administrator and other vendor agreements Advising on HIPAA privacy matters An LL.M. in Employee Benefits is desirable and may be considered in lieu of equivalent work experience.
