Polysomnographic Technologist

$2570.40/week - Job Summary: Provides diagnostic imaging services by operating computed tomography (CT) equipment to assist in medical diagnoses. Performs a variety of imaging procedures, ensuring high-quality images are captured for interpretation. Responsibilities: Operate CT equipment to produce accurate cross-sectional images of patients' bones, organs, and tissues. Perform additional imaging procedures such as general radiography and fluoroscopy as needed. Assess patient conditions, prepare patients for imaging procedures, and ensure their comfort and safety. Maintain and calibrate imaging equipment regularly, ensuring optimal functionality. Use PACS and teleradiology systems to accurately transfer and store images. Adhere to HIPAA and confidentiality guidelines to protect patient data. Qualifications: Hold an associate’s degree in Radiologic Technology or relevant field. Be registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) with credentials R.T. (R)(CT) or R.T. (R). Possess current California Radiologic Tech license. Maintain Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Have advanced certification in CT modality (preferred in CA, required in OR and HI).
