We believe in a patient-centric approach, where every treatment plan is tailored to meet the specific needs of each person who walks through our doors.The Intake Coordinator assists in collecting patient information for possible admits, pre-certs, and filing mandatory reporting; take phone calls into the assessment center and routes calls as necessary; UR Pre-certification with insurance companies; Assist with taking physician orders and other duties as assigned.Current California Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN)Telephone etiquette and customer service skills by phone and face-to-faceOral and written communication skillsFamiliarity with medical and psychological terminology preferredBasic knowledge of human behavior or principles of psychology usefulUnderstanding of addiction treatment concepts, including 12-step programs and cognitive aspects of addictive diseases.Experience with therapeutic limit-setting helpful, or an understanding of level systems or other behavior management modalitiesAbility to maintain professional boundaries and willingness to seek supervision in this regardCurrent BLS for healthcare provider required upon hireTherapeutic Options™ (TOT) training to be obtained prior to providing direct patient care without a preceptorJoin us in making a meaningful impact in the lives of those we serve!Aurora Charter Oak Hospital has been delivering Behavioral Health Treatment Services for over 83 years.
