Apple Valley Village Health Care Center, a Cassia community ,  is hiring a  Culinary Assistants  to join our team. Teamwork and respect are very important to us. As a  Culinary Assistant at  Apple Valley Village Health Care Center  , you will gain valuable knowledge and experience by serving our residents, employees, and family members’ meals. Meal times and good food will always be a very important part of everyone's lives! Our Culinary Department is a great group to work with and are valued by staff and residents alike. Position Type:  Part-Time working various hours including weekdays and rotating weekends

Shifts Available:  
Evenings 3:00 PM - 9:00 PM, start times can vary at 3:00 PM, 4:00 PM or 5:00 PM

Wage Range: $19.09 - $22.15 / hour depending on experience.

Culinary Assistant Responsibilities:

• Provide excellent service to residents, staff, and families.
• Work within the department to provide quality and nutritious meals and service to residents.
• Assist in maintaining a clean and sanitary dietary department.
• Wash dishes and clean the kitchen and dining rooms.
• May support kitchen staff with duties such as prepping food.
• Complete additional tasks as needed.

Culinary Assistant Qualifications:

• Strong communication skills to interact with residents and staff.
• Compassionate, positive attitude and team player.
• Previous serving/dining experience is plus, but not required! We will train!
