A part-time Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse is needed to serve one elementary school, helping ensure every student’s well-being and safety. This contract role begins as soon as possible and runs through June 20th, offering consistent weekday hours to fit your schedule.

Key Qualifications:

• Active RN or LPN license in Rhode Island
• Experience in pediatric or school-based nursing is advantageous
• Familiarity with common conditions in elementary-aged children
• Ability to handle emergencies calmly and efficiently
• Comfort working independently within a school setting
• Strong communication and teamwork skills

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver daily nursing care, including first aid and medication administration for elementary school students
• Monitor and manage student health plans and update records as necessary
• Communicate professionally with school staff, parents, and healthcare providers
• Educate students and faculty on health topics, hygiene, and wellness
• Contribute to a positive, nurturing learning environment
• Collaborate with school teams and participate in student health assessments
