Job Description Join Bishop Spencer Place, Kansas City’s premier non‑profit Life Care retirement community. We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our Skilled Nursing Facility. Position Details Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Skilled Nursing Unit Schedule: Full Time; Days; 3x12 shifts Responsibilities Meet with assigned nursing personnel to plan shifts' services, programs, and activities; oversee nursing assistants. Administer professional nursing services and medication to residents; ensure compliance with care plans. Assist with new admissions and discharges. Consult with residents, family members, and physicians regarding care, treatment, and rehabilitation plans. Administer medication. Visit residents to evaluate physical and emotional status. Notify attending physician and next‑of‑kin of changes in resident condition. Report problem areas to the RN Supervisor or Clinical Director. Job Requirements Applicable experience: Less than 1 year. IV Certification – National Council of State Boards of Nursing (NURSYS). Licensed Practical Nurse (MO) – National Council of State Boards of Nursing (NURSYS).
