Sr. Manager, Esports Product Management (TFT) (Los Angeles)

The Global Esports team is focused on delivering amazing player experiences through Riot Games global esports events and regional competitions. Our professional, semi-professional, and community competitive tiers in League of Legends, VALORANT, Teamfight Tactics, Riftbound, and 2XKO, involve thousands of players and hundreds of organizations competing every week online and in-person. As a Sr. Manager, Esports Product Management, you will build esports ecosystems, with a focus on Teamfight Tactics, the worlds largest PC strategy game. You’ll sit on game leadership teams to help steer TFT. Additionally, you’ll support explorations on new titles. This role reports to the Director, Esports Product Management.Responsibilities:Partner with the Executive Producers and Publishing Leads to define outcomes for esports and align on a vision for the player experience for games, with a primary focus on Teamfight TacticsOwn the holistic player experience and partner with other Riot teams to champion execution against your vision - from live events and broadcast, to marketing and partnershipsEvaluate and refine existing programs, such as the TFT Open & Pro Circuit, to ensure they hold up against changing conditions and new information as the title continues to grow.Partner with regional teams to develop a nuanced understanding of local player needs and ensure the global strategy is executed and amplified at the local levelServe as a member of Game Leadership Teams, championing and aligning on esports strategy while contributing broader perspective beyond your functional lane to drive the best outcomes for the gameManage the P&L and health of the esports ecosystems, both establishing and tracking metrics including viewership (e.g., AMA / PCU), audience satisfaction, and engagement (e.g., tournament participation)Support as an esports craft lead globally, partnering with esports leads from League of Legends, VALORANT, and other titles, to set the vision for and hold a high performance bar Required Qualifications:7+ years of product leadership experience in esports or product management4+ years of people management experienceProven ability to create and articulate a clear product vision and strategyA fan of TFT esports, with a demonstrated understanding of the esports ecosystem, the major players, and how the ecosystem fits togetherBackground working with community members, especially streamers and content creators, to build programs and products that support their needsExperience managing complex, matrixed teams; including experience managing distributed teamsExperience working with international teams, especially working with teams in ChinaHolistic product P+L ownership/management experienceBachelor's degree in business or a related fieldFor this role, you'll find success through craft expertise, a collaborative spirit, and decision-making that prioritizes the delight of players.
