What You'll Be Responsible For

• Conduct both routine and advanced laboratory tests in areas like chemistry, hematology, and immunology while following established protocols.
• Evaluate test results for accuracy, resolve discrepancies, and carry out routine maintenance as well as calibrations on laboratory instruments.
• Assist in the collection of specimens, preparing samples for respective testing requirements.
• Meticulously document all laboratory processes, train incoming staff or students, and uphold the highest standards of lab quality.
• Ensure a safe, clean work environment while adhering to all regulatory and accreditation standards.

Education & Credentials

• Possess a Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or a related allied health degree, and be prepared to obtain ASCP/AMT certification.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Clinical Laboratory Science Board Certification must be obtained within one year of hire.
• Current certification must be maintained throughout your employment.
